School Crest Details for Sampling

Confirm crest artwork, production method, size, placement, colors, and background together. LuxoTie can use this reference to prepare the sample and approved school variants.

School Crest and Uniform Details

School identity can be carried through the crest, colors and labels. The crest technique is matched to the artwork and chosen tie fabric.

Navy tie with adjustable strap and a blue, yellow and white school crest.

Embroidered or Woven Crest

Embroidery adds stitched detail, while a woven crest forms part of the fabric design. Small lettering and fine lines are reviewed for the selected method.

Two yellow and navy striped ties with monograms and dark reverse sides.

School Colors and Stripes

School colors can be incorporated into the background and stripe design. Crest position and scale are coordinated with the finished blade.

Blue patterned tie reverse with a sample label, center seam and black tipping.

Size and School Labels

Labels can identify the school, size or approved group version. Packing can separate ties by class, house or campus.

Black tie with broad pale diagonal stripes and small shield emblem near the tip.

Choose the School Crest Method

Choose the logo method based on crest detail, color count, finished size, material, placement, quantity and budget, then approve the result on the sample.

  • Jacquard Woven Crest
Crests or repeated school marks are formed within the fabric. Approve yarn colors, scale, repeat, placement, and the smallest readable details on the sample.
  • Embroidered Crest
Approve stitch treatment, finished size, position, colors, material, and reverse-side appearance for an embroidered crest.
  • Screen Printed Logo
Suitability for a school graphic depends on artwork, color count, material, size, position, quantity, and sample approval.
  • Heat Transfer Logo
Check edge definition, color, material compatibility, and placement on the actual sample for suitable artwork.
  • Digital Direct Print
Multicolor or detailed artwork can use this method where it suits the material. Supply clear files and approve color, scale, and detail on the chosen fabric.
  • Foil Detail
Metallic or accent details require project review. Foil does not suit every crest or material; confirm feasibility, area, color, and the sample result.
Navy and green knotted ties with single crests on the front blades.

Plan Crest Scale, Placement, and Repeat

Approve the crest at its actual size and position on the tie. Check fine details, stripe proportions and background contrast on the selected construction, not only on screen.

  • Centered Front-Blade Crest
Place the primary school crest on the visible front blade. Approve its size and distance from the tip against the expected knot and wearing position.
  • Repeated Small-Crest Pattern
Smaller marks can repeat across the tie. Approve spacing, direction, scale, and the clarity of any simplified crest details.
  • Crest with School Stripes
Set stripe direction, width, repeat, colors, and the crest’s relationship to the stripes before sampling.
  • House or Department Variant
Approved groups can share a crest with color or layout differences. Record each variant’s name, artwork, color, quantity, label, and packing code separately.
Purple and burgundy ties arranged to show their matching fine diagonal texture.

Coordinate School Colors and Backgrounds

Use approved school references to set the tie palette, then review the crest against its actual background because fiber, weave, printing, lighting and screens can affect color appearance.

  • Solid School-Color Ground
A single approved school color forms the background. Supply a Pantone or physical reference and approve the result on the selected material.
  • Two-Color School Palette
Define where the primary and supporting colors appear in the crest, background, stripes, labels, and packaging references.
  • Striped Background
Check stripe direction, width, repeat, order, contrast, and crest visibility on the sample of the approved school stripe design.
  • House or Year-Group Color Variant
Supply color codes, quantities, labels, and packing rules for each house, year-group, or department variant. Color names alone are insufficient.
Navy tie reverse with a label, center seam, dark tipping and patterned tail.

Organize Labels and School Allocation Packing

Match labels and packing codes to school, house, class, campus, design, and size variants for counting, receiving, and distribution.

  • Brand Label
Identify the approved school or uniform program inside the tie. Supply final artwork, wording, size, position, and color before production.
  • Size Label
Define a code for every approved length or dimension variant and use it consistently in order and packing files.
  • Care Label
The buyer must approve the supplied fiber and care information, including final wording, languages, symbols, and applicable market requirements.
  • Hang Tag
Add school, house, class, size, barcode, or project identifiers. Approve artwork, data fields, attachment, and sequence before printing.
  • Individual OPP Bag
Protect ties individually for unit counting. Specify any label, insert, barcode, or variant code on each bag.
  • Class, House, or Size Carton Packing
Supply carton quantities, codes, shipping marks, destinations, and the complete school allocation table before packing.

Custom School Logo Tie FAQ

Custom school logo ties are uniform neckties with an approved crest or logo, specified method, crest size and placement, school colors, background or stripes, material, width, length, labels, and grouped packing. LuxoTie records these details for sampling and production of each approved school, house, class, campus, or wearer variant.
Available methods include Jacquard weaving, Embroidery, Screen Printing, Heat Transfer, Digital Direct Print and Foil when suitable for the artwork, material, position, quantity and budget. The choice also depends on crest detail, color count, finished size and background. Approve the logo at its actual tie scale because small text, fine lines, gradients and closely spaced elements may need simplification.
Send the approved crest in AI or PDF when possible; PSD, CDR, JPG, and PNG are also accepted. Include Pantone or physical color references, the preferred logo method, finished crest size and position, tie width and length, wearer groups, background or stripe design, total and per-variant quantities, labels, packing plan, destination, and required date. LuxoTie will review the brief before preparing artwork and a sample specification.
The MOQ is 100 pieces. A sample usually takes 5 to 7 days, and bulk production usually takes about 20 to 25 days after the required details and approvals are confirmed. Actual timing depends on the crest method, material, number of variants, labels, packing, quantity, and order conditions. IQC, IPQC, and FQC check the order against the approved sample and project matrix.
School logo ties can use brand, size, or care labels, hang tags, OPP bags, and cartons grouped by class, house, size, campus, or another approved group. Provide an allocation table with quantities, codes, carton rules, shipping marks, and destinations. Keep the approved crest file, color references, sample, dimensions, labels, and packing codes for reorders, whose appearance remains tied to the project’s approved reference.
