Six navy and blue ties with small geometric and repeating patterns.

Confirm Airline Tie Variants Before Sampling

List each approved tie-wearing role, design, color, width, length, label, quantity and packing group in one matrix. LuxoTie can then prepare the artwork and sample against that reference before bulk production.

Aviation Uniform Tie Details

Airline branding carries through the tie's colors, emblem and finishing. Role-specific versions can share the same core design.

Three black ties with tonal paisley, checked and floral patterns.

Brand Colors and Patterns

Corporate colors can be incorporated into woven or printed designs. Stripe proportions and motif spacing give each approved uniform version its visual identity.

Black and navy ties with repeated pale curved line emblems.

Emblem Detail

Logos can appear as a placed mark or a repeating pattern. The material and production method determine how fine lines and small lettering are reproduced.

Navy tie reverse with a small label, keeper loop, center seam and dark tipping.

Role Labels and Packing

Labels and grouped packaging distinguish ties for different roles, bases or stations. The identification follows the version assigned to each delivery group.

Four ties in blue, brown, red and dark gray with small pale repeating motif.

Approved Aviation Roles and Tie Allocation

List the roles that wear neckties under your uniform policy. Identify shared specifications and approved role or location variants.

  • Flight Deck Teams
Identify buyer-approved flight deck roles that wear neckties. Confirm the role list, design, dimensions, quantities, and all applicable uniform rules.
  • Cabin Crew Teams
List the variants for cabin groups whose approved uniform includes a necktie, as designs may differ by role.
  • Ground Service Teams
Check-in, guest service, and other buyer-approved ground roles may share a color and size plan or need separate variants. Confirm the plan for each role.
  • Lounge and Guest Service Teams
Identify the lounge or hospitality groups included in the aviation uniform order and coordinate their ties with the approved uniforms.
  • Operations and Management Teams
Approved operations, office, supervisory, or management groups can use the core design or an approved accent, label, or size change. State the version for each group.
  • Multi-Base or Multi-Station Programs
Provide quantities and packing identifiers for every base, station, or operating unit before production packing.

Plan Width and Length by Aviation Role

Choose dimensions that match the approved uniform proportions and wearer groups, then record every size variant in the role matrix.

  • 6–7 cm Slim Width
Check a narrower front blade against the approved uniform before sampling.
  • 8 cm General Width
An option for many corporate and uniform proportions; 8 cm is not a universal aviation requirement.
  • 9–10 cm Full Width
A broader blade may be required by the uniform or brand standard. Check artwork scale and pattern repeat at the selected width.
  • 135–140 cm Short Length
Confirm the finished length and quantity for each buyer-defined shorter wearer or uniform group.
  • 145 cm Standard Length
A general length where approved for the project. Check the knot, blade position, and uniform proportions on the sample.
  • 150–155 cm Extended Length
Keep quantities for groups needing additional length separate in labels, packing, and the order matrix.
Four rolled ties in gray, gold, pale blue and burgundy.

Coordinate Colors with Airline Branding and Uniforms

Use airline brand and uniform references to set an approved tie palette, then confirm the actual result on the selected material and design method.

  • Primary Airline Palette
Supply a brand guide, Pantone reference, or physical reference for the main color shared across approved roles. Approve it on the sample material.
  • Uniform Garment Coordination
Where possible, supply actual shirts, jackets, dresses, or other approved uniform references for ties to match or complement. Screen colors are not production standards.
  • Role Accent Color
Identify the roles receiving each stripe, motif, or color change. Keep all other details unchanged.
  • Base or Sub-Brand Variant
Record the name, reference color, quantity, label, and packing code separately for each related but distinct approved identity.

Organize Role Identification and Station Packing

Use confirmed labels and packing codes so approved sizes, roles, bases, stations and delivery groups are easy to identify and count.

  • Brand Label
Identify the approved brand or uniform program inside the tie. Supply final artwork, wording, size, position, and color before production.
  • Size Label
Define one size code for each approved length or dimension variant and use it consistently in packing lists.
  • Care Label
The buyer must approve the supplied care and fiber information, including final wording, language, symbols, and market requirements.
  • Hang Tag
Add role, size, station, barcode, or project identifiers. Approve artwork, data fields, attachment, and sequence before printing.
  • Individual OPP Bag
Protect ties individually for unit counting. Confirm any label, insert, barcode, or role code on the bag.
  • Station or Role Carton Packing
Supply the allocation table, carton quantities, shipping marks, and destinations before packing ties by destination or wearer group.

Custom Airline Tie FAQ

Custom airline ties are neckties for approved tie-wearing roles in an aviation uniform program. Buyers can coordinate material, color, pattern, logo, width, length, labels and packing with their brand and uniform references. Because airline policies differ, the buyer must identify the actual flight, cabin, ground, lounge, operations or management groups that require a tie.
LuxoTie can develop airline ties in Polyester, Silk, or Wool Blend, with widths from 6 to 10 cm and lengths from 135 to 155 cm or a confirmed special length. Provide brand guidelines, a Pantone reference, or a physical reference for color development. Every material, color, dimension, artwork scale, and role variant should be approved on the sample before bulk production.
Send the approved tie-wearing roles, quantity for each group, brand guide, colors, dimensions, material preference, logo or pattern placement, labels, and packing plan. Accepted artwork formats include AI, PDF, PSD, CDR, JPG, and PNG. Also provide the destination and required date. LuxoTie will review the brief, prepare artwork, and confirm the sample specification before production.
The MOQ is 100 pieces. A sample usually takes 5 to 7 days, and bulk production usually takes about 20 to 25 days after the required details and approvals are confirmed. Actual timing depends on the design, material, number of role variants, labels, packing, quantity, and order conditions. IQC, IPQC, and FQC check the order against the approved sample and matrix.
Airline ties can be packed by role, base, or station using brand, size, or care labels, hang tags, OPP bags, boxes, or outer cartons, as confirmed for the project. Provide an allocation table with every role, size, base, station, quantity, packing code, carton quantity, shipping mark, and destination. Approve the table before packing for accurate receiving checks and distribution.
